Being this was my first international release as a solo artist, I really needed a strong  visual theme correlating to the genre of music I had taken so long to record, something having true impact…Marc excelled at achieving just that & more. What’s amazing is his immediate intuitive understanding not only of the client’s desired “big picture” intent, but his undeniable focused attention to detail.   From front cover to back, and everything in-between, the finished product has total continuity, while retaining great interest & beauty in its layout.
 
One thing I’d like to emphasize was Marc’s correspondence throughout the project, communicating effectively as required, to make sure everything was on point…a true rarity these days. The old saying; “let’s get it right the first time”…well, Marc gets it!
 
Though newly released, I’ve been receiving raving compliments from others in the music industry on the Bordertown cd, not only of the music, but how impressed they are on the artistry & graphics that Marc provided.  
 
Thanks again Marc, for everything you brought to this project, you more than exceeded my expectations, and left me with a product I can surely be proud of to send worldwide.

Marc Kitaen is one of the most talented graphic artists in the business today. We were fortunate to find Marc a few years ago just prior to the release of our Supernova CD. Marc did the cover art as well as the 20 page booklet for Supernova. We were astounded by the results and have since used Marc for every Liquid Blue project involving graphic art. Marc seems to have an intuitive sense of just what is needed for each project. He truly puts his heart and soul into his work and the result is often "magic". Many of the projects we've asked Marc to produce have had the added pressure of a need for a quick turnaround. Marc has come through for us every time. His creative and timely work have exceeded our very demanding expectations. We've also benefited from his cutting edge chroma-key work as he recently completed an amazing poster for our band member Layla Loxa. I am not only a client but a true fan of Marc's work. His is truly one of the most uniquely gifted graphic artists in the world.

2008 / June 14: Artist Marc Kitaen was awarded 2nd Place, (ribbon/cash prize) for the artwork titled: "Dragon's Lair",  and a 4th Place, titled: "Legend of Serena"  (ribbon/cash prize), for the 2008 San Diego County Fair, Digital Arts Division, Digital Photographic Compositing.

One other artwork entry of Marc Kitaen's,  received an honorable mention, "Lifes Little Pleasures". (5) Five entries in total were accepted and are currently on display at the County Fair art show.

2008: SAN DIEGO HUMANE SOCIETY, artist Marc Kitaen's has on display, original pet dog artwork for sale in their retail store, including framed artwork images, matted prints and greeting cards.

Artist Ellary Branden of "GARDNER PARK", has her domestic pets artwork for sale at the Humane Society retail store.
